This is how Alžběta Vintrová – copywriter, proofreader, winner of the Czechoslovak LinkedIn Award 2022 and one of the speakers at the Stars of E-mailing 2023 conference – describes the results of her work. Alžběta has a lot to say about e-mailing, not only from the point of view of copy, but also from the point of view of reach, because she uses this channel extensively herself.

What does your marketing mix look like and how big a role does email marketing play in it? Is it a significant source of traffic or even conversions?

I can't imagine my business without email marketing. It's the most instagram database reliable and yet cheapest way to spread content, news and sales offers to people who are more likely to be interested in them. Whenever I send a sales email, I can be sure that orders will come. People are on the move on social media, they are more focused on email and therefore more willing to buy.

How long have you been using email marketing? Have you been working with it since the beginning of your online promotion?

I've had emailing in my marketing mix since the beginning. But it took me a while to learn how to use it. The boom came when I started sending spelling canapes by email . Social media algorithms are unreliable. If a reader wants to be sure that they won't miss the canapes, they can have them sent to them by email. And over 1,500 people are already using this option.

How did you get started with emailing? Did you attend any training, did you gain awareness of emailing through self-study, or did you go about it intuitively?

My entire online journey began with the Beach Business course. While I have reservations about its concept, I must say that the course gave me the foundation to build on.
