We also worked on additional points of traffic growth: we worked with directories and traffic pages, as well as TOPs, ratings and lists.
Directories, from the point of view of search engines, do not require the uniqueness that articles need. Therefore, we can talk about terms and legal regulation in different countries without significant changes to the text - Google does not consider official documents plagiarism.
It’s quite easy to implement: we collect a list of topics that can be included in our directories → we find good sites where the information is verified and confirmed, for example, government resources or textbooks → we parse part time data the data from there → we rewrite it for ourselves → we post it on the site.
Reference books generate a lot of traffic that is difficult to segment, but they do not require a lot of copywriter effort. That is why reference books were our second priority after expert articles.
But TOPs and ratings require unique content, but they do not necessarily bring high-conversion traffic - this direction has moved to the third priority.
The result was the following content management plan.
Additional directions for increasing traffic in information demand
