With perfect binding, the spine of the book block is roughened and glued together. PUR (polyurethane adhesive) is typically used for this purpose. This binding is very durable and can be used for book blocks with 20 to 400 pages. Due to its high stability, this binding is particularly recommended for products subject to heavy wear. For even longer durability or improved opening behavior, thread sealing is also available.

English brochure
The English brochure is one of the simplest and most commonly used binding styles. A semi-cardboard cover is glued to the spine of the book block.

Particularly suitable for product catalogs, annual reports, paperbacks and other thicker publications

Swiss brochure
The Swiss brochure is characterized by the fact that the book block is manufactured separately, meaning it is produced independently of the cover, and is then attached to the third cover page with a narrow strip of glue, creating an elegant yet robust bond. This process allows for flexible cover design and a clear separation between the book block and cover, resulting in an attractive appearance. The book block is often also equipped with a binding strip, which not only contributes to stability but can also serve as a decorative element. Alternatively, the book block can also be produced with an inner cover, which offers additional protection and visually refines the transition between the book block and cover. This type of binding is ideal for publications that require a high-quality and individual presentation.
