Incentivize customers to purchase by providing a coupon code for their current order
Most online stores often have a promo code field on the checkout page. You might be surprised to learn that this is one of the reasons online shoppers leave your page. They will do it on Google! And it might take them to other sites that are looking for it, which makes your sales funnel a little off track.
To avoid this scenario, you can surprise them with an exclusive coupon code that will appear when they reach the checkout page and will remain there for a few seconds. The checkout page is crucial and if you think a buyer is quite hesitant, a coupon code might be the best strategy to entice them to buy.
Other website owners also provide second purchase coupon codes, which are also effective in bringing back visitors.
How to do this:
On the Poptin dashboard, find the additional items file and click on voucher . Edit it occupant resident lists accordingly and insert it into your eCommerce popup. I used one of Poptin's templates for this popup and customized it.
10. Enhance the shopping experience with special offers to show at a specific time of day
According to a study , the days of the week when users shop online are Monday and Thursday and the peak time is between 8 am and 9 pm. So what happens at the other time of the week/day?
You can increase your traffic by promoting and offering significant value to customers who shop during off-peak hours. At the very least, you can offer them exclusive deals and discounted items.
To increase its effectiveness, integrate this strategy with other platforms like email and social media so you can promote your offers early.
