This is a type of franchising commonly used in the restaurant business: with industrial franchising, the parent company can grant the affiliate the manufacturing license for the products sold, as well as the brand, technology, production techniques and constant assistance.
By doing so, the franchisee can then produce and market the products manufactured in his laboratory using the know-how and putting into practice the marketing tactics taught to him by his franchisor.
The difference between industrial franchising and distribution franchising is that in the former the franchisee is not only allowed to use the parent company's logo, but in particular self employed data the patents: with this type of contract the entrepreneur will find himself in possession of all the secrets and production techniques of a specific parent company, which is a feature of no small importance if the company in question can boast a certain importance and relevance on the market.
