Once you're in a group, you can control how visible your personal information is to other members.

Best Practice: Use a username if you want to interact in groups without directly sharing your phone number. However, choose a username that doesn't easily identify you if you seek higher anonymity.
Anonymous Admins:

For Group Admins Only: If you are an admin of a group, you can choose to "Remain Anonymous." When enabled, your messages in the group will be posted under the group's name instead of your personal name, and you won't appear in the group's member list (though other admins can still see your identity).
