Be Mindful of Sharing Your Contact Card

"Delete Synced Contacts": If you previously had syncing enabled, tap "Delete Synced Contacts" in the same section to remove any contact data Telegram may have stored from your phone's address book. This reduces the amount of your personal data held on Telegram's servers.
Manual Contact Addition: With syncing off, you'll need to add contacts manually using their username or by entering their phone number.
5. Regularly Check Active Sessions
Monitor Logged-In Devices: Go to Settings > Devices (or Settings > Privacy and Security > Active Sessions). This shows all devices currently logged into your Telegram account.
Terminate Unknown Sessions: If you see any telegram number database unfamiliar devices or locations, immediately tap on them and select "Terminate." This logs out that device. This helps you detect and revoke access from unauthorized logins.
6. Be Cautious with "People Nearby"
Disable if not needed: The "People Nearby" feature can expose your approximate location and make you discoverable to strangers in your vicinity. If you prioritize maximum privacy, disable this feature in Contacts > People Nearby.
7. Consider Anonymous Numbers (for extreme privacy/anonymity)
Fragment (+888 Numbers): For the highest level of phone number anonymity, consider purchasing an anonymous +888 number from Telegram's official Fragment platform. This detaches your Telegram account from any traditional phone number tied to your real identity.
Virtual Phone Numbers: Alternatively, use a reliable virtual phone number service for registration. This provides a number that isn't your personal one. Be aware that some free virtual numbers might be flagged by Telegram due to past abuse.
