Enter Your Phone Number:

You open the Telegram app (on mobile, desktop, or web).
You are prompted to select your country code and enter the phone number associated with your Telegram account.
Telegram Sends a Verification Code (Prioritized Delivery):

Telegram's servers process your request.
Priority 1: In-App Code (if you have active sessions): If you are already logged into Telegram on another device (e.g., your primary smartphone, a tablet, or the desktop app), Telegram will prioritize telegram number database sending the login code as an encrypted message directly to one of your active Telegram sessions. This is the most secure and convenient method, as it avoids SMS reliance.
Priority 2: SMS (Text Message): If you don't have any active Telegram sessions, or if the in-app delivery method isn't possible, Telegram will send a 5-7 digit numerical verification code via SMS to the phone number you entered.
Priority 3: Voice Call (Fallback): If SMS delivery fails or is delayed, Telegram may offer an option to receive the code via an automated voice call to the entered number.
Fragment (+888) Numbers: If your account is registered with a +888 anonymous number from Fragment, the verification code is delivered directly to your TON wallet or via the Fragment platform.
Enter the Verification Code:

You receive the code (via in-app message, SMS, or call).
You must then enter this code into the Telegram app on the device you are trying to log in from, typically within a short time limit.
