Reinstall Telegram (Last Resort):

Correct Format: Ensure the phone numbers in your device's address book are saved in the correct international format (e.g., +<Country Code><Area Code><Local Number>).
For example, for a number in Bangladesh, it should be +88017XXXXXXXX (not just 017XXXXXXXX).
Duplicate Contacts: Clean up any duplicate contacts in your phone's address book, as this can sometimes confuse sync processes.
4. Stable Internet Connection:
Contact syncing requires an active and stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data). Ensure your connection is not intermittent or too slow.
5. Clear Cache (Android Only):
Sometimes cached data can interfere with app functionality.
Go to Settings > Apps (or Apps & notifications / App telegram number database management).
Find and tap on "Telegram".
Tap on "Storage & cache".
Tap "Clear cache". (Avoid "Clear data" unless as a last resort, as it will log you out).
Restart Telegram and check sync.
6. Update Telegram App:
Ensure your Telegram app is updated to the latest version. Bugs in older versions can sometimes affect functionality.
Check your device's app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store) for pending updates.
7. Check Phone's "Contacts" App Settings (Less Common):
Some phones have settings within their native "Contacts" app that control which accounts are synced. Ensure your primary contact account (e.g., Google account, iCloud) is correctly syncing contacts to your phone.
Make sure "Hide contacts without numbers" or similar filters are not enabled in your phone's contact app settings.
8. Restart Your Device:
A simple device restart can often resolve minor glitches affecting app performance and network connectivity.
