Be Mindful of Shared Content:

Enable Two-Step Verification (2FA) (Mandatory for Security):

Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Two-Step Verification.
Set a strong, unique password for your 2FA.
Crucially, set a recovery email. If you're using an anonymous number, use a secure, privacy-focused email provider (e.g., ProtonMail, Tutanota) that you haven't linked to your real identity. This is your lifeline for account recovery if you lose access to your anonymous number.
Regularly Review Active Sessions:

Go to Settings > Devices (or Settings > Privacy and Security > Active Sessions).
Periodically check this list for any unfamiliar or telegram number database unauthorized logins. Terminate any suspicious sessions immediately.
Utilize Secret Chats for Sensitive Conversations:

For truly private, end-to-end encrypted communication that Telegram cannot access, always initiate Secret Chats. These are device-specific, do not sync to the cloud, and support self-destructing messages and screenshot prevention.
Use a VPN or Proxy:

While Telegram encrypts your communication, using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or a SOCKS5 proxy (which can be configured directly in Telegram's settings) can mask your IP address. This adds another layer of anonymity by obscuring your geographical location and internet service provider from Telegram's servers.
